Mission

Your girl is priceless, and she deserves to know it.

We are convinced that your daughter, your niece, your granddaughter, your sister and your friend can impact the world around her for good. Our goal is that she would not feel lost on an endless search to attain beauty that fades, or find herself on the hamster wheel of chasing an acceptance that shifts with opinion. Our goal is that she would look in the mirror and love what smiles back at her, that she would stand her ground when her gut highlights truth, our goal is that she would defend lonely hearts and use her voice for good. Our goal is that she would turn knowledge into wisdom and that she would defy the odds of statistics for girls in Brazoria County.

Your girl is priceless, and we want her to know it.

We want to help your girl be at peace with who she is, as she is. We want her to know that she is lovely, just as she is. That she is cherished, just as she is. We want her to love herself and we want to equip your girl with the tools she needs in order to combat the negativity and pressure she is currently being bombarded with by society and social media. We want her to walk through hallways with her head held high, we want her to stand up for herself and others with confidence that her voice has value.

Our Course

What began as a conversation between two friends has blossomed into a published course on worth.

What started as these two friends having a weekly conversation with a classroom of girls during their lunch period has grown into an opportunity to have a conversation with hundreds of girls a year. We currently serve 4th to 9th grade girls in the Columbia-Brazoria Independent School District, Angleton Junior High, and we just started teaching in Brazosport ISD this year!

We prioritize building a relationship with your girl while mentoring her on the things her heart needs to know as she grows up in today’s society. We teach on authentic beauty (the kind of beauty that does not fade), comparison, the power of thoughts, confidence, labels, self-esteem, and so much more.

Founder

When I was in the 5th grade my family suddenly moved towns, and I went from being surrounded by friends in an elementary school to being the new kid in a school that went up to the 12th grade. I distinctly remember staring at my shoes as I would walk through the hallway, hoping no one would notice how much I felt like I didn't belong. And one day as I was walking down the hallway, my eyes glued to my shoes, I remember a high school girl dipping her head to catch my eyes and beaming a smile at me. This was 25 years ago, and I still remember how I felt after she smiled at me. I felt this inner permission to look up from my shoes because if this gorgeous girl who exuded confidence smiled at ME, then maybe I was someone worth smiling at.
I want to be that person for the girls around me. I want to look them in the eyes, smile at them, and let them know that they are so worthy of love and every good thing that life has to offer. I want to make eye contact with girls who hang their heads in defeat and shame and extend to them dignity and the knowledge that the world needs them to look up, look ahead, and smile back.
With that said, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Christian. I am 35 years old, I live in a small town in Texas, and I recently married the love of my life in 2022. If I were to write an autobiography, I am pretty sure the first ten chapters would be titled “Here is what not to do”. The pages would be filled with decisions I made while chasing every counterfeit of worth and love imaginable. I wish that current day Christian could hop in a time machine and warn 10 year old Christian of the pain she would experience in the terrain of accepting love-alternatives.
However, because that is not a possibility, I want to spend my life surrounding myself with other females to create a safe space for them to hear the truth - that worth is not earned. Worth is realized.
That is why I wrote this course, and that is why I want to share it with you, with your girl, with your daughter, with your mother. You are so worthy of love. You are precious, and you are priceless, and you are brilliant, and you are brave. My hope is that together we can smile at those who feel like they do not belong and make the hallways of our lives a brighter place.

SECRETARY | TREASURER

My life with Bloom started out just watching and setting up the room when we met in local schools, quietly listening and learning, and secretly having my mind blown during every lesson. The leaders didn’t know this, but they were teaching me as much as they were teaching the girls. Eventually, I started helping more assisting Christian, then working all things behind the scenes, and now teaching classes as well. I’ve known Christian since we were teenagers, and I always saw her as a confident person. Obviously, no one is born with confidence, but it’s something she worked hard for. She has taught me so much as I’ve watched her live out the principles she presents in Bloom. Having my own story of overcoming rejection and realizing my worth, I am so happy that I get to be even a small flame in this wildfire of worth spreading across the world.
